Dumbass.

Bush: Hamas attacks on Israel an 'act of terror'

Bush offered no criticism of Israel, depicting the country's air assaults as a response to the attacks on its people. The White House will not comment on whether it views the Israeli response as proportionate or not to the scope of rockets attacks on Israel.

"This recent outburst of violence was instigated by Hamas — a Palestinian terrorist group supported by Iran and Syria that calls for Israel's destruction," Bush said.

Thanks, Sarah Palin!

Palin welcomes grandson, daughter discourages teen pregnancy

"When Bristol and Levi first told us the shocking news that she was pregnant, to be honest, we all at first looked at the situation with some fear and a bit of despair," Palin said in the statement.

"Isn't it just like God to turn those circumstances into such an amazing, joyful blessing when you ask Him to help you through?" she said.

Yeah, which side have the terrorists again?

Israeli assault on Hamas kills more than 200

"Israeli warplanes rained more than 100 tons of bombs on security sites in Hamas-ruled Gaza Saturday and early Sunday, killing at least 230 people in one of the Mideast conflict's bloodiest assaults in decades. The government said the open-ended campaign was aimed at stopping rocket attacks that have traumatized southern Israel."

Now what's wrong with that last sentence?

From July-- but still.

President George Bush: 'Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter'

"The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: 'Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter.'
He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock."

This article reinforces a) Bush is a failurepresident and b) the US media is not worth shit, because I didn't see anything else about this.

CPR study suggests 'Staying Alive' lives up to name

"At 103 beats per minute, the old disco song has almost the perfect rhythm to help jump-start a stopped heart.
And in a small but intriguing study from the University of Illinois medical school, doctors and students maintained close to the ideal number of chest compressions doing CPR while listening to the catchy, sung-in-falsetto tune from the 1977 movie '
Saturday Night Fever.'"

UN suspends food distribution in Gaza

"The United Nations announced it was suspending food distribution to half of Gaza's 1.5 million people on Thursday after Israel failed to allow emergency supplies into the Palestinian territory."

Reasons why that's fucked up:
1. The United Nations is blindly following what Israel wants.
2. "Failed to allow" instead of "Refused to allow"-- deliberately neutral wording.
3. Behind Israel's actions is a logic similar to the No Child Left Behind Act-- getting punished for not being up to standards, instead of receiving aid to improve standards.
